Cucumber LARINO

Larino F1 cucumber is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in winter glasshouses under light culture. The plant is indeterminate, strongly branched, with a female flowering type, ensuring predominantly 2-3 female flowers per node. Leaves are medium-sized and green, while the cucumbers are short, cylindrical, with a smooth slightly ribbed surface and small spines. Fruit weight is 35-40 grams, making them convenient for salad use. Larino cucumber fruits have excellent flavor and long storage life, which is an important advantage for commercial cultivation and marketing. The market yield of this hybrid reaches 28 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity. Moreover, Larino exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew, reducing the need for frequent fungicide applications and enhancing ecological cultivation. The hybrid is suitable for winter-spring turnover and can be grown on high trellises with pruning, facilitating care and harvest. Optimal planting density is 2.5-3 plants per square meter. Fruits measuring 9-11 cm in length have an attractive appearance — smooth, shiny, and spine-free, making them popular in the salad and cocktail cucumber segments. Larino belongs to the "Excellent Taste" and "Sensational Snacks" lines, confirming its high flavor quality and versatility.
