Description LOENGRIN
Loengrin F1 is a medium-early parthenocarpic salad hybrid intended for cultivation in winter glasshouses under light culture with illumination exceeding 15,000 Lux. The plant is indeterminate, weakly branched, with a female flower type, predominantly with one female flower per node. Leaves are medium-sized and green. Cucumbers have an elongated-cylindrical shape, dark green coloration with very short stripes, smooth, slightly ribbed, and spiny. Average fruit weight is about 240 grams, fruit length reaches 30-35 cm, maintaining consistent length throughout the entire vegetative period. The hybrid exhibits high commercial yield, amounting to 41-47 kg per square meter. The plant is strong, with good fruit set and low fruit drop. Loengrin possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and lower susceptibility to infection by ZYMV, making it a reliable choice for intensive cultivation. Fruit flavor is excellent, making this variety particularly attractive for salad use. Loengrin is suitable for cultivation under light culture, ensuring stable and high yields during the winter period. Due to its characteristics such as disease resistance, fruit stability, and high yield, this hybrid is an optimal choice for commercial cucumber production in greenhouse conditions.
