Cucumber KUZYMICH

Consistent Yields in Diverse Environments

The «Kuzmich» cucumber is a tactical solution for growers who prioritize reliability. Thanks to its parthenocarpic flowering, the variety does not require pollinators, making it an excellent choice for protected cultivation environments where insect activity is restricted. The plant features a generative growth habit, focusing its energy on fruit set rather than excess foliage.

Field Application and Management

This variety exhibits high versatility, performing consistently well in both greenhouse setups and open field conditions. Farmers benefit from the following traits:

• Operational Efficiency: Harvest begins within 45–50 days, allowing for a tight crop rotation schedule.
• Disease Resilience: Strong resistance to olive spot and powdery mildew significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, making it suitable for lower-input production systems.
• Marketable Produce: The dark green fruits (9–12 cm long) maintain a standard 5:1 length-to-diameter ratio, which is ideal for uniform packing. With an average weight of 80–110 grams, these cucumbers are durable enough for transport and meet the high aesthetic standards of modern retailers.

Choosing «Kuzmich» means securing a reliable, high-volume harvest that withstands the variability of agricultural conditions.
