ANDRUSHKA

Cucumber of the ANDRUSHKA variety is a hybrid plant that begins to bear fruit 40-45 days after germination. It is a medium-height plant with poorly developed side branches. Fruits are short, 6-8 cm long, with small bumps and a vibrant green color. They are free of bitterness, making this variety suitable for various uses: fresh cucumbers are ideal for salads, and they are widely used for pickling, marinating in the seedling stage, and for gherkins.

Growing ANDRUSHKA cucumbers can be done either through seedlings or direct sowing into the soil. For seedlings, seeds are sown in pots at a depth of 1.5-2 cm and grown at a temperature of around 25°C. After germination, the temperature is reduced to 15°C. Transplanting seedlings into open ground is recommended only after the threat of night frosts has passed and the soil has warmed to 9-13°C. When sowing seeds directly into the soil, the planting depth increases to 2-3 cm. To protect the seedlings, it is recommended to use special covering materials such as plastic film or agrofiber.

During the growing season, to achieve a high yield, up to three fertilizations are conducted using appropriate fertilizers. Pesticides are applied to protect against pests. The ANDRUSHKA variety is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in open ground, making it versatile and convenient for various climatic conditions and farming methods.
