RUSSIAN EXPRESS

Cucumber hybrid "Russian Express" is a mid-early, bee-pollinated variety intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The period from emergence of seedlings to the first harvest is 40-50 days, allowing for an early and stable yield. Plants are vigorous, predominantly female-flowering, with cluster formation of fruits at nodes, which facilitates the formation of 1-3 fruits per node on both main and secondary vines.

Fruits of the "Russian Express" cucumber have a length of 9-12 cm and a weight ranging from 85 to 130 grams. The fruits are short, ribbed, with characteristic white hairs, distinguished by high marketability and excellent taste without bitterness. They are juicy and crunchy, making them versatile for various uses: fresh consumption, pickling, marinating, and canning.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield — in open ground it exceeds 7 kg per square meter, while under plastic coverings it reaches 13-15 kg per square meter. Additionally, the variety exhibits resistance to a complex of diseases and a prolonged fruiting period, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest throughout the season.
