UGLICH

Uglich F1 — a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of female-flowering cucumber, ripening in 47-50 days after germination. This hybrid is intended for cultivation both in protected ground and under temporary plastic coverings in open ground. The zucchini are 10-13 cm long and weigh 100-110 g; they are bumpy, brown-spined, and non-bitter. The fruits are dark green, exhibiting good storability and transportability, making them convenient for storage and transportation.

Sowing seedlings is recommended in late April, while transplanting seedlings into the ground should be done at the end of May or beginning of June, when plants have reached the 3-4 true leaf stage. Direct sowing into the ground in late May is also possible, maintaining a planting scheme of 50x50 cm. Two to three fruits form in leaf axils, contributing to high yield. One plant can produce 5.5 to 6.5 kg of fruit.

The Uglich hybrid is characterized by its versatility in fruit use and relatively high resistance to major cucumber diseases, simplifying care and enhancing yield stability. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is suitable for both amateur and professional cultivation.
