Kroshchka — ultra-early, parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid with exclusively female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. Fruit production begins 37-44 days after mass seedling emergence. The plant is medium-vining and exhibits high yield: with multiple harvests, total marketable yield reaches up to 18 kg/m² in open ground and up to 32 kg/m² in covered conditions.
The Kroshchka cucumber fruits are oval-cylindrical, bright green with small bumps and white fuzz. They are firm, crisp, free of bitterness and hollows, measuring 8-8.5 cm in length and weighing approximately 74-90 g. Due to their thin skin and excellent flavor, these cucumbers are ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, salting, and preparing the traditional dish okroshka.
