Cucumber TSXA-2693 F1 is a mid-season, bee-pollinated hybrid developed at the Vegetable Experimental Station named after V.I. Edelstein. This variety is characterized by vigorous plant growth and strong female expression, which contributes to high yields. The fruits are spindle-shaped, 15-18 cm long, with white, complex, and sparse hairs. The fruit flavor is good, making them attractive to consumers. Fruit set begins 43-46 days after germination, allowing for planned harvests within medium-term schedules. The TSXA-2693 F1 hybrid is recommended for cultivation in protected soil, especially in winter greenhouses during the winter-spring rotation. To achieve maximum yield and uniform fruit set, it is important to maintain nighttime air temperature at 19-21°C during the peak fruiting period. The plants exhibit moderate branching and good lateral shoot development, which supports stable and prolonged fruiting. TSXA-2693 F1 shows resistance to diseases such as olive spot and cucumber mosaic virus, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. However, the hybrid is sensitive to powdery mildew, ascochitosis, and root rots, therefore requiring appropriate care and preventive measures. The commercial yield of this variety ranges from 33.2 to 38.5 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for commercial cultivation.
