Cucumber variety IDEAL is a high-quality crop intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. This parthenocarpic variety features an indeterminate growth type and moderate branching, with predominantly female flowering, contributing to high yield. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape with a short neck, green color with medium-length stripes, and a large-warted surface covered with medium-density black hairs. Fruit weight ranges from 85 to 111 grams, and the flavor is characterized by excellent organoleptic qualities. The variety begins fruiting on day 47–52 after emergence, allowing for an early harvest.
IDEAL is suitable for both salad consumption and pickling and salting. Marketable yield reaches 3.2–4.3 kg per square meter, surpassing the standard variety 'Korolek F1'. Product output reaches 98–100%, indicating high cultivation efficiency. The variety exhibits resistance to several diseases, including cladosporiosis, fusarium, cucumber mosaic virus (CMV 1), and powdery mildew (PM), as well as tolerance to downy mildew (DM). Additionally, it tolerates low temperatures, expanding its cultivation possibilities.
In addition to its agronomic advantages, cucumber IDEAL is a nutritious food product. Cucumbers consist of 90% water, supporting hydration and detoxification. They contain essential vitamins and microelements, such as vitamins A, B, C, K, manganese, copper, and potassium, which positively affect overall health and support good well-being. Including cucumbers in daily meals promotes improved metabolism and strengthens the immune system.
