SALAD HERO

Cucumber variety 'Salad Hero' is a parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, under film coverings, and in open ground. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to various diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, olive spot, powdery mildew, and downy mildew. The plant is vigorous and well-adapted to temperature fluctuations, allowing successful cultivation in both cold and hot conditions.

Fruits of 'Salad Hero' have a dark green color with a matte surface and large, sparsely distributed bumps with white spines. The zucchini reach 25-30 cm in length and 4-4.5 cm in diameter, possessing very high flavor qualities. The flesh is dense, free of bitterness and voids, making the cucumbers delicious both fresh and for preservation.

The maturation period of this hybrid ranges from 50 to 55 days from germination to the start of fruiting, enabling an early harvest. Due to its characteristics and versatility, 'Salad Hero' is an excellent choice for fresh vegetable lovers and for winter preservation.
