Cucumber Sound F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan for cultivation in open ground. The plant exhibits vigorous vegetative growth with abundant leaves and the ability to form lateral shoots, which significantly increases yield. The vegetative period is 48-60 days after emergence, enabling early and stable harvests.

The fruits of cucumber Sound F1 are large, uniform, and evenly shaped, with a deep green color. Their length-to-diameter ratio is 3.1:1.0, and the flesh is dense with a crisp texture. Due to these qualities, the cucumbers are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The hybrid shows consistent fruiting and high productivity throughout the fruiting period.

A key feature of this variety is its high resistance to adverse growing conditions, including drought and hot weather. The plant withstands stress well, does not drop fruit, and possesses regenerative capacity. Additionally, cucumber Sound F1 exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and cladosporiosis, as well as moderate resistance to cucumber mosaic virus, making it a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers.
