Cucumber Director F1 is a high-yielding early hybrid, intended for cultivation in covered ground, especially in glass and plastic greenhouses. The plant features vigorous growth, medium height, and strong branching, with an indeterminate growth type and vegetative-generative growth pattern. Leaves are dark green, medium-sized, and two to three female flowers form in each leaf axil, contributing to high yield. The hybrid is parthenocarpic with female flowering, ensuring stable fruiting without pollination.

The fruits of cucumber Director have a proper cylindrical shape, 9 to 12 cm long, and a deep green color throughout their length, which remains even at the end of fruiting without hollowing. They possess a pleasant taste and aroma, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and marination. The plant forms 2–3 fruits per node, further increasing yield and space efficiency.

The hybrid exhibits resistance to common cucumber diseases, such as powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and vascular yellowing, reducing the risk of yield loss and the need for frequent chemical treatments. Recommended planting density is 3–3.3 plants per square meter in the first crop and 2.5–3 plants per square meter in the second, allowing optimal use of greenhouse space and consistent high yields.
