Aladdin F1 cucumber is a high-yielding mid-season hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic cover. The fruit ripens in 45 to 60 days after emergence of seedlings. Plants feature strong bushes capable of recovering from damage and forming lateral shoots, ensuring prolonged fruiting. Most flowers are female, and pollination occurs with bees.
The fruits of Aladdin cucumber are cylindrical, about 8-10 cm long and weigh 80-110 grams. They have a dark green color with white stripes and a bumpy skin, giving them a fresh, crisp taste. The hybrid is genetically free of bitterness and resistant to yellowing, making it ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and marination. With proper care, the plant can form multiple fruits in one leaf axil.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use seedlings or direct sowing after the danger of frost has passed, when soil temperature reaches 10-12°C. Seeds should be planted 3-4 cm deep, and planting density in the 1-2 leaf stage should be 2.5-3.2 plants per square meter. Soil should be light, nutrient-rich, and neutral in pH (6-7). Coated seeds, covered with a special shell containing microfertilizers and protective agents, promote better germination and plant development.
