Cucumber variety "Birch Juice" is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, intended for cultivation in open ground. The period from seedlings to fruiting starts in 40-45 days, enabling a quick harvest. The plant is indeterminate with moderate branching, forming 2 to 3 or more fruiting nodes per node, ensuring abundant and uniform fruiting. Leaves are green and medium-sized, promoting good photosynthesis and fruit development. Fruits are cylindrical, 8-10 cm long and 80-95 grams in weight. Their color is dark green with characteristic reticulate stripes, medium-ridged surface, and covered with brownish spines. Flesh is dense, crisp, and has excellent taste qualities, making them suitable for fresh consumption and various processing methods. Due to parthenocarpic flowering, the variety does not require pollination, simplifying care and increasing yield stability. For cultivation, sow seeds in seedbeds at the end of April, transplanting into open ground at the end of May–beginning of June, spacing 40x40 cm. Direct sowing into the ground is also possible during the same period. Seeds retain viability up to 7 years under optimal storage conditions; however, after expiration, sowing rates should be increased. Variety "Birch Juice" is characterized by high yield, stability, and fruit quality, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers aiming for early, flavorful cucumber harvests.
