Cucumber STEPNOY

Cucumber variety Stepnoy is an early-maturing and high-yielding plant, distinguished by drought resistance and resistance to powdery mildew. This bee-pollinated variety is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones due to its adaptability and ability to produce abundant yields. The plant is robust, with a long stem up to 2 meters and even leaf distribution, which promotes good growth and fruiting.

Fruits of cucumber Stepnoy have a cylindrical shape with slight ovalness at the ends, length from 8 to 12 cm, and weight of about 90-100 grams. The skin is dark green with dark spines, thin, large-ribbed, slightly ribbed, with barely noticeable light stripes. The flesh is dense, juicy, without voids or bitterness, with a pleasant milky color and characteristic crunch. The skin is edible, making this variety versatile for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling.

Variety Stepnoy is characterized by uniform and early fruit formation, allowing harvest as early as 35-45 days after germination. It is recommended for cultivation in open ground and suitable for salad preparation, canning, and pickling. High yield, reaching 3.7-4.1 kg per square meter, combined with excellent taste qualities, makes this variety popular among gardeners and in the vegetable market.
