Cucumber variety Lyaluk is an ultraprecocious bee-pollinated type intended for cultivation in open fields and plastic greenhouses. The vegetation period ranges from 30 to 45 days depending on conditions, allowing harvest before the widespread occurrence of powdery mildew. Fruits have an elongated-oval shape, 8 to 12 cm long, with large bumps and dark green skin. The weight of one cucumber varies from 100 to 130 grams. The flesh is crisp, with a small number of seeds and no bitterness, making this variety suitable for fresh salads as well as pickling and marinating. The plant prefers warm conditions, moisture, and fertile soil, especially thriving on medium loamy soils with good water permeability. For sowing, seeds should be planted after the threat of frost, when soil temperature reaches 10–15 °C, at a depth of 3–4 cm, with a seeding rate of 0.2–0.5 g per square meter. Plants form dense growth in the 1–2 leaf stage. The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to stress, sharp temperature fluctuations, and common cucumber diseases such as powdery mildew and brown spot. Care for Lyaluk cucumber includes timely weeding and soil loosening to retain moisture, as well as application of organic and mineral fertilizers, promoting intensive yield. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this variety is suitable for spring harvest both in greenhouses and in open fields, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield.
