ZAPORIZHNYI 333 MV

Corn hybrid Zaporizhsky 333 MV — a mid-early simple modified hybrid with FAO 330, developed by the Institute of Steppe Agriculture of NAAN Ukraine. Plants reach a height of 240-250 cm, with ear attachment height of 80-90 cm. The ear has a cylindrical shape, 23-24 cm long, containing 16-18 rows of kernels, with 34-38 kernels per row. The kernels are yellow with red sides, dent-shaped, with 1000-kernel weight of 310-330 g. The ear stalk is red, which is a characteristic feature of the hybrid. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, with potential yield of 10.0–11.0 t/ha. Zaporizhsky 333 MV is characterized by high resistance to lodging (8.5 points), cold tolerance (8 points), drought resistance (8.5 points), as well as resistance to major diseases (9 points) and pest damage (8.5 points). The hybrid exhibits intensive grain moisture shedding, which promotes rapid maturation and reduces lodging in commercial crops. The hybrid seeds are coated with Maxim 025 and a biostimulant with eco-friendly paint without polymers, enhancing its protection and quality. Seed similarity is 98%, germination energy — 94%. Packaging is done in paper bags of 25 kg. Zaporizhsky 333 MV responds well to improved growing conditions, ensuring stable and high seed productivity, making it a reliable choice for grain production.
