Corn VORONEZH 162 SV is an early hybrid of grain corn intended for use as a feed crop. This variety is characterized by high nutritional value and is suitable for animal husbandry, providing quality feed. The hybrid matures in 75-80 days, allowing its use both in the spring season and as a second crop.
The plant reaches a height of about 220 cm, and the ears are 24-26 cm long with 18-22 rows of bright yellow, large kernels. Due to its excellent market appearance, corn is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. VORONEZH 162 SV exhibits high resistance to diseases such as bacterial wilt (Erwinia Stewartii), cladosporiosis, and gray mold (SCLB), ensuring stable yields and reducing losses.
The hybrid responds well to improved growing conditions, is resistant to lodging and stress, making it a reliable choice for farmers. It belongs to the early-maturing group with FAO 180 and is a simple modified hybrid. Produced by the company "Stepova", it is recommended for cultivation in Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus.
