Description NK Takeo
The NK Takeo corn hybrid is a late-maturing variety intended for grain production. It belongs to the Stay Green type, which ensures prolonged retention of green biomass and contributes to high productivity. The grain is dent-type with 72-74% starch content, making it especially valuable for feed and food production. The hybrid optimally expresses its potential when grown on high agronomic backgrounds, particularly under irrigation, which is typical for southern regions of Ukraine. Early planting promotes rapid entry into the flowering phase, and high responsiveness to mineral nutrition allows achieving maximum yields.

NK Takeo exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases. It is highly resistant to drought, frost, and root lodging, ensuring stable yields under adverse conditions. The hybrid is tolerant to diseases such as helmintosporiosis, powdery mildew, root and stalk rots. The recommended planting density is 40-50 thousand plants per hectare for conventional cultivation and 70-80 thousand per hectare for irrigation.

This corn hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including southern regions with irrigation, as well as the northern steppe and forest-steppe. It is characterized by high and stable yields, rapid moisture release from the grain upon maturity, and efficient use of nutrients. Due to these qualities, NK Takeo is one of the best options for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn grain yields.
