The herbicide Varяg Trio is a modern systemic agent for comprehensive protection of corn crops from a wide range of grassy and broadleaf weeds. It is effective against weeds such as sunflower downy mildew, ragweed, crabgrass, as well as many other annual species, including field mustard, dandelion, common purslane, black nightshade and others. Thanks to its broad spectrum of action, the product provides long-lasting effects and versatility, making it indispensable for protecting both conventional and seed corn crops. The active ingredients of the herbicide — Metolachlor (315 g/L) and Terbuthylazine (190 g/L) — inhibit photosynthesis and biosynthesis processes in weeds, leading to their effective elimination. The product can be applied both before and after corn emergence, up to the 3–5 leaf stage of the crop. Varяg Trio blends well with other herbicides in tank mixtures, expanding its application possibilities in agrotechnologies. The herbicide fully decomposes in soil and plants and is not washed away by rain, ensuring stable and reliable crop protection. The recommended application rate is 3.5 to 4.5 liters per hectare, and the packaging is available in 20-liter volumes. Due to its effectiveness and safety for the crop, Varяg Trio is ideally suited for use on hybridization plots and seed corn crops, providing high weed control and contributing to high-quality yields.
