Description SY Batanga
The hybrid maize SY Batanga from Syngenta is a medium-maturing, highly adaptable variety recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Northern Steppe regions of Ukraine. This hybrid features rapid early growth and a strong root system, enabling efficient use of natural soil fertility. Kernel type — dent, which contributes to high yield and product quality. SY Batanga is suitable for both grain production and silage use, expanding its application in agriculture.

The content of main components in the hybrid's grain is 74.2% starch, 8.4% protein, and 3.8% vegetable oil, ensuring high nutritional value and technological suitability. The hybrid exhibits rapid grain moisture loss at maturity, facilitating harvest and reducing the risk of yield loss. Under favorable weather conditions and adequate moisture, a second ear may form, further increasing yield.

SY Batanga has high resistance to stress factors and diseases, including drought, lodging, helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, root and stalk rots. The hybrid also permits replanting on the same field, making it a profitable choice for monoculture. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions and ranges from 40 to 75 thousand plants per hectare. Seeds are supplied in packages of 80 thousand units, convenient for planning planting operations.
