Corn Sucosta is an early super-sweet hybrid of type SH2, developed by the Dutch company Syngenta Seeds. The vegetation period is about 65-71 days, making this hybrid one of the earliest on the market. The plant reaches a height of up to 190 cm, features strong leafing and high resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases, including rust and viruses, ensuring stable and high yields.
The ears of corn have a cylindrical shape, up to 23 cm long and about 5-5.5 cm in diameter, with 18-20 rows of bright yellow, large, juicy kernels. The kernels are tightly packed, possess a rich sweet taste that remains after heat treatment, storage, and transportation. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for both fresh market sales and culinary use, canning, and processing.
Sucosta is adaptable to various agronomic conditions, making it convenient for cultivation in open fields. Its high transportability and storability allow it to maintain its appearance and taste qualities for a long time. This hybrid is an optimal choice for farmers and producers aiming to obtain a high-quality, flavorful product with high yield potential.
