Splendis

The Splendis corn hybrid is a mid-early three-line variety with high yield potential, reaching up to 17 tons of grain per hectare. It is suitable for cultivation both for grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for various agricultural purposes. Plant height reaches 290 cm, and ear attachment height is about 110 cm. Grain is cream-colored and dent-shaped, with row numbers ranging from 14 to 16 and a 1000-grain weight of approximately 325 grams, indicating high seed quality. Splendis is characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various climatic conditions, confirmed by its drought resistance (7 points) and lodging resistance (9 points). The hybrid also has high initial growth energy (9 points), ensuring good development in early stages. Due to its resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including stem and ear fusarium, helminthosporium, blister, and stalk borer, Splendis ensures stable yield performance even under challenging conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 65-70 thousand under insufficient moisture, and 55-65 thousand plants per hectare in dry zones. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe, making it a universal and reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields.
