Tonifi CS

Hybrid corn Tonifi CS is a high-yield variety intended for grain, meal, and silage production. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group with FAO 260 and has a cream-colored, dent-type kernel. Thanks to its high-quality silage yield and rapid grain drying, this hybrid optimizes drying costs and increases overall production profitability. Tonifi CS is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions, and is adapted to optimal early and optimal planting dates at temperatures of +8 °C and +10 °C respectively. The hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and a strong stalk reaching approximately 275 cm in height, with the ear positioned at about 125 cm. The 1000-seed weight is 318 grams, indicating good yield potential. The recommended planting density depends on soil moisture level: under sufficient moisture, 70-75 thousand plants per hectare are optimal, while under insufficient moisture, 60-65 thousand plants per hectare are recommended. Tonifi CS is resistant to lodging, drought, and several diseases, including stalk and ear fusarium, helminthosporium, and blister and smut. To achieve maximum hybrid productivity, it is recommended to apply fertilizers during the 3-5 leaf stage, using micronutrient fertilizers such as domestic producer Yarilo or similar products. Weed control is achieved using post-emergence herbicides containingnicosulfuron, 2,4-D, florasulam, and rimsulfuron. In the 3-5 leaf stage, insecticides based on imidacloprid and lambda-cyhalothrin are applied to combat pests. This complex of agronomic measures ensures stable and high yields of the Tonifi CS hybrid.
