Maize SAT 295

SAT 295 — a mid-early maize hybrid with FAO 280-290, intended for grain and silage production. Plants reach a height of 220-270 cm, have 16-17 leaves, and a cylindrical ear of 20-26 cm length with a red stalk. Grain is yellow, dent-type, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 280-290 g and protein content of 9.0%. The ear forms at a height of 80-115 cm, fully covered by husk, ensuring good protection and quality of the harvest. The vegetation period is approximately 110-131 days depending on the growing zone, allowing the hybrid to successfully adapt to various climatic conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to lodging, drought, and major diseases, including stalk rot, ear rot, and smut, as well as pests such as corn borer. Cold resistance is rated at a high level, ensuring stable yields under adverse weather conditions. Potential grain yield reaches 11-12.5 t/ha, while silage yield — 60-65 t/ha, making SAT 295 a highly efficient choice for farmers.

Maize seeds are treated with a two-component fungicidal protectant "Inshur Perform", which provides effective disease control and promotes healthy plant development. Recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, where it demonstrates high productivity and adaptability. Due to its characteristics and resistance, SAT 295 is a reliable hybrid for obtaining high-quality maize yields.
