Maize KSM 9192

KSM 9192 — medium-early corn hybrid with FAO 340, intended for cultivation in various regions, including Central Chernozem, North Caucasus, and Lower Volga. Plants of this hybrid reach an average height of 240-260 cm, with ear attachment height around 55 cm. Ears have a length of 18-20 cm, with 14-16 rows of kernels, and 1000-kernel weight varies from 280 to 350 g depending on region and growing conditions. The hybrid is characterized by weak to moderate anthocyanic coloration of the first leaf sheath and slightly conical ear shape. KSM 9192 exhibits high resistance to stalk rot, ear rot, and powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields and reduced losses during storage. The hybrid possesses good cold and drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. High dry matter content and elevated starch content in the grain make this hybrid particularly valuable for silage production with excellent digestibility. Average dry matter yield reaches 225.3 t/ha, while grain yield in the Lower Volga region is approximately 56.6 t/ha. Due to its agronomic traits and disease resistance, KSM 9192 is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality corn yields for both grain and silage purposes.
