Barley Pasadena

The Pasadena barley variety belongs to the mid-season brewing types with a vegetation period of about 80–95 days, making it optimal for beer production. This variety is included in the State Register of Selection Achievements and is popular due to its high-quality characteristics and high profitability of cultivation. Pasadena is distinguished by good disease resistance and is suitable for obtaining high-quality grain required by the brewing industry.

Cultivation of the Pasadena variety requires a comprehensive approach, including proper selection of preceding crops, careful soil and seed preparation, as well as adherence to agronomic measures at all stages of sowing and crop care. Special attention is given to weed control, disease management, and lodging prevention. To enhance resistance to lodging, regulators such as Binom® 46% w.p. are recommended, which help preserve yield and improve grain quality.

Pasadena demonstrates high frost tolerance and is adapted to various climatic conditions, ensuring stable yields. The recommended seeding rate is approximately 120 kg per hectare. Due to its characteristics and technological requirements, the Pasadena variety is a profitable choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality brewing barley.
