Description RSC ZARYA
Corn RSC ZARYA® is a silage corn variety intended for use as a feed crop in animal husbandry. This variety is characterized by very early maturity with a vegetation period of about 79 days, allowing effective utilization in various agro-climatic conditions. The grain is dent-shaped, features good moisture loss at maturity, and has low harvest moisture, facilitating harvest and storage.

RSC ZARYA® has high yield: 5 to 12 tons per hectare for grain and 20 to 65 tons per hectare for silage. The plant contains 35.1% dry matter, and the protein content in the grain ranges from 9 to 10.5%, ensuring high nutritional value of the feed. The variety is resistant to stem lodging, as well as diseases such as common rust and smut, and pests including corn borer.

Moreover, RSC ZARYA® demonstrates enhanced drought and cold tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the Lower Volga region and similar climatic zones. The recommended plant density at harvest is 75–80 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 65–70 thousand under dry conditions, promoting optimal yield formation and maximum productivity.
