The P9610 corn hybrid is a mid-season, simple hybrid with dent-type grain from the Optimum® AQUAmax® line. It features good early growth and high plant vigor with strong stalk support, providing resistance to lodging. The grain has high purity and contains significant amounts of starch and protein, making this hybrid versatile for use in grain, starch, and alcohol production.
P9610 has excellent water-use efficiency and high drought tolerance, contributing to stable yields under various climatic conditions. The hybrid shows resistance to stalk diseases with a rating of 6 out of 9, further enhancing its reliability from an agronomic standpoint. Recommended planting density depends on soil moisture levels: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare with adequate moisture, and 60-65 thousand with limited moisture.
To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to plant P9610 at optimal times, avoiding late planting and overcrowding. This hybrid is not suitable for minimum tillage or late harvest. It is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions, with special emphasis on the Forest Steppe, Eastern Polissia, as well as mountainous areas of Crimea and the Carpathians. For crop protection, apply post-emergence herbicides according to plant growth stages and avoid monoculture planting.
