Description R 20021
The R 20021 corn hybrid is a simple grain hybrid with a dent kernel type and high moisture shedding. Medium-height plants have optimal ear attachment, contributing to yield stability and harvesting convenience. This hybrid has a high yield potential, reaching up to 9-11 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for grain production.

R 20021 is characterized by high drought resistance and strong immunity to major corn diseases such as Helminthosporium and gray leaf spot. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, especially in the Polissia and Forest-steppe zones. Early or late planting is not recommended to achieve maximum productivity.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine and is appropriate for monoculture, but not recommended for minimal soil tillage. The recommended plant density at harvest is 65-90 thousand plants per hectare. The main purpose of the hybrid is grain production, but it can also be used for silage. Manufacturer: Pioneer, FAO hybrid group: 220, corresponding to the early-maturing group.
