Maize Prolix

Prolix F1 cucumber is a mid-season, high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, suitable for cultivation both in open fields and in protected environments, including polyethylene and glass greenhouses. The vegetative period ranges from 40 to 48 days, enabling early harvest. The plant features a balanced generative type with vigorous lateral branching and short internodes, bearing 3 to 5 fruits, ensuring prolonged fruiting and stable yield.

Prolix F1 fruits are uniform, cylindrical, with prominent bumps, 10 to 14 cm in length, and a rich green color. They possess excellent taste and commercial qualities, making this hybrid versatile for fresh consumption, pickling, marinating, and canning. The fruits withstand long-distance transport, which is crucial for commercial cultivation and product distribution.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to various viral and fungal diseases, including resistance to HR: Px, Ccu, CMV. The plant is adaptable to growing conditions and tolerates water deficiency, simplifying care and increasing yield reliability.
