Exxist corn is a modern agricultural crop cultivated using effective agronomic methods to increase yield. One of the key factors for successfully growing this corn is weed control, which is especially relevant in the foothill zone of the Kabardino-Balkar Republic. Under such conditions, the use of modern post-emergence herbicides, such as Stellar-Plus, significantly reduces crop infestation, creating optimal conditions for plant growth and development. Using the herbicide Stellar-Plus in the Exxist corn agroecosystem increases the leaf surface area of plants, which directly affects their photosynthetic activity and, consequently, increases grain yield. By reducing competition from weeds, corn receives more nutrients and water, improving its development and crop quality. This is especially important in areas with intensive land use and small land parcels, where traditional crop rotations are practically nonexistent. Thus, Exxist corn combined with the use of modern herbicides represents a promising solution for increasing productivity and crop resilience under challenging climatic and soil conditions. Effective weed management allows optimization of agronomic processes and achieves stable high yields, making this crop attractive to agricultural producers in foothill regions.
