Description Rasava 200 SV
Corn Rasava 200 SV is a medium-early, starchy hybrid with FAO 210, widely used in the food industry. This three-line hybrid is recommended for cultivation in Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe zones, and Polesie, as well as in Russia and Belarus. Plant height reaches 250–270 cm, with 15 leaves on the main stem, and ears up to 23–24 cm long positioned at 80–90 cm height. The kernels are yellow, round, and nearly entirely starchy, ensuring high-quality output for cornmeal, flakes, and other food products. The hybrid features high and stable yields with potential up to 12–12.5 tons per hectare. It exhibits high resistance to common diseases such as stalk rot and powdery mildew, as well as to major pests. Rasava 200 SV tolerates extreme temperature conditions, both heat and low temperatures, making it a flexible and reliable choice for various climatic zones. Additionally, the plant does not bush out, simplifying care and harvest operations. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its good response to high agro-factors, allowing significant yield increases under optimal growing conditions. The kernels dry quickly after maturity, reducing moisture content at harvest and improving storage quality. Despite high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, prolonged storage may lead to partial deterioration. Seed production of this hybrid is economically advantageous, making it attractive to farmers focused on producing high-quality grain and silage.
