The MUASON hybrid sweet corn is a simple interline variety with high yield and medium maturity, ranging from 110 to 115 days. This hybrid is characterized by a strong root system and sturdy stem, ensuring resistance to adverse weather conditions and mechanical damage during harvest. Ear attachment height varies from 110 to 115 cm, facilitating harvesting and reducing the risk of fruit damage.
MUASON has high genetic yield potential, reaching 120-130 centners per hectare. The corn ear contains up to 20 rows of kernels, which are tooth-shaped and large in size. The 1000-kernel weight reaches up to 320 grams. The kernels are characterized by high starch content (68-70%) and protein (around 9%), making this hybrid particularly valuable for food and feed production.
The hybrid is resistant to major diseases such as helminthosporium and gray leaf spot, as well as pests including corn borer. Due to its high adaptability to various climatic conditions, MUASON is suitable for cultivation throughout Ukraine, ensuring stable and high yields.
