LSX 341 — a mid-season corn hybrid characterized by high adaptability and resistance to adverse conditions. The plant is tall with wide leaves, medium-length and thickness ears, slightly conical, with a small number of rows of kernels. The kernel type is intermediate, closer to flint, with yellow-orange coloration. The leaves are slightly curved, and the angle between the leaf blade and stem is small. Anthocyanic pigmentation in roots, silk, and leaf sheath is absent or very weak, indicating specific morphological features of the hybrid.
The hybrid exhibits high cold resistance and resistance to various diseases, including Fusarium of the ear and stem, as well as lodging and powdery mildew. Due to these qualities, LSX 341 is suitable for cultivation in areas with sufficient but unstable moisture. Sowing is recommended at soil temperatures of 8 °C or higher, ensuring rapid plant growth and development. High water drainage rate facilitates timely harvest, which is especially important under variable climatic conditions.
To achieve maximum yield, optimal planting density is recommended: 75–85 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture and 65–70 thousand under unstable conditions. The hybrid is known for its stability and adaptability, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions. LSX 341 is included in the State Register and recommended for cultivation in the Russian Federation.
