CSZ 3203 — a mid-early corn variety with high starch content, exceeding 72%, making it especially valuable for biofuel production such as bioethanol and biogas. This variety is characterized by rapid moisture release, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. The corn has a dent kernel type, 1000-kernel mass ranging from 270 to 380 grams, and high yield, confirmed by average performance in Ukraine.
Plants reach a height of 230-250 cm with semi-erect leaf positioning. The ear is attached at a height of 85-95 cm and contains 14 to 16 rows of kernels, with 35-39 kernels per row, totaling 470 to 620 kernels per ear. The variety is resistant to a range of diseases, including bacterial blight and Fusarium stalk and ear rot, and exhibits high resistance to root and stalk lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
CSZ 3203 is recommended for cultivation both as a monoculture and under conventional or minimal soil tillage. Optimal planting density depends on moisture levels: 75,000-85,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 65,000-70,000 under unstable conditions. Soil temperature for planting should be no less than 8°C. Due to its characteristics, this variety is suitable for silage and industrial use, making it a versatile choice for farmers focused on high productivity and quality.
