MAS 20 F

MAS 20 F — mid-early hybrid corn, intended for grain production. It is characterized by high plasticity and stable yield, enabling successful adaptation to various soil-climate conditions, including the Polissia and Forest Steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants are medium-height with the Stay Green type, ensuring prolonged retention of green mass and contributing to increased yield. Average ear attachment height and row numbers of kernels from 14 to 16 with 30-36 kernels per row form a flinty kernel type with 1000-seed weight around 310-320 grams.

The hybrid exhibits high drought resistance (rating 9), making it especially valuable under insufficient soil moisture. Additionally, it shows good resistance to lodging (8) and tolerance to common corn diseases such as stalk and ear fusarium, rust, and helmintosporiosis, with resistance ratings from 6 to 8. Germination energy is 6, ensuring good emergence and plant development.

Recommended planting density depends on moisture availability: under adequate moisture, 75-85 thousand plants per hectare are optimal; under insufficient moisture — 70-75 thousand. The sum of active temperatures for flowering and maturity is 830 and 165 degrees Celsius, respectively. Hybrid MAS 20 F can achieve yields up to 15 tons per hectare, making it a profitable choice for farmers seeking high and stable grain corn yields.
