The hybrid maize MAS 25 F is a high-yielding mid-early variety with FAO 250, intended for grain production. It features a cream-colored, dent-type kernel and medium plant height with medium cob attachment. The number of rows per ear ranges from 14 to 16, and the number of kernels per row varies from 32 to 36. The 1000-kernel weight is within the range of 300–320 grams, ensuring good growth energy and yield potential up to 16 tons of grain per hectare under optimal conditions.
The hybrid MAS 25 F exhibits high resistance to major maize diseases, including gray leaf spot, stalk and ear fusarium, and northern corn leaf blight. Resistance to these diseases is rated at 7–9 points, providing reliable plant protection and stable yields. Additionally, the variety shows high drought tolerance and lodging resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various soil-climatic conditions, including the Polissia and Forest-steppe zones. The plant belongs to the Stay Green type, which helps maintain green biomass longer and improves water shedding.
MAS 25 F seeds are supplied in packages of 50,000 seeds and are treated with AGROSTART and FORCE ZEA D50 to enhance germination and protect against diseases. The hybrid is suitable for extensive cultivation technologies and can be used both with sufficient and limited water supply. Early planting and timely harvest are recommended to achieve maximum productivity. The optimal plant population at harvest ranges from 70,000 to 85,000 plants per hectare depending on growing conditions.
