The hybrid corn MAS 37 V is a mid-season, high-yielding variety with FAO 360, developed by Ukrainian selection. It is characterized by high yield potential and grain quality of dent type. The ear of this hybrid is clean, narrow, and long, with 14 rows and 38-40 kernels per row, with a 1000-kernel weight of 350-370 grams. Plant height is high, and ear attachment is at a medium level, contributing to good resistance to lodging and mechanical damage.
MAS 37 V exhibits high tolerance to stressful growing conditions, including drought and common corn diseases such as common rust, gray leaf spot, stem and ear fusarium. The hybrid shows excellent phytosanitary resistance and is adapted to cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia regions of Ukraine. Recommended planting density is 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under optimal conditions and 60-65 thousand under limited conditions.
For successful cultivation of MAS 37 V, the hybrid requires a total of 940 growing degree days until flowering and approximately 1850-1890 degree days until full grain maturity. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage purposes. It is characterized by high early growth, good adaptation to monoculture, high water-excreting ability, and remontancy, making it a versatile and reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield.
