Sweet corn hybrid 30M is a mid-season hybrid with high yield potential, belonging to FAO group 310. This hybrid features dent-type kernels and was developed in France, ensuring high seed quality. Plants have medium ear attachment height and slightly below-average stem height, facilitating harvesting and reducing lodging risk. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 70-80 thousand plants per hectare under sufficient moisture and 60-70 thousand under unstable moisture. Seeds are supplied in packages of 50 thousand.
Hybrid 30M exhibits high tolerance to stress conditions, particularly prolonged air and soil drought, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climates. Due to its strong root system, plants are resistant to lodging both during vegetation and after harvest. The sum of active temperatures until flowering is 910°C, and until full maturity — 1800°C, corresponding to a mid-season maturation period.
Additionally, 30M has good phytosanitary status, allowing for late harvest without loss of yield quality. The hybrid is resistant to major corn diseases such as common and downy mildew, as well as Fusarium stalk and ear rot. High starch content (over 60%) makes this variety suitable for starch processing, expanding its application in agriculture and food industry.
