Corn Lебідь MV is a simple interline mid-early hybrid with a vegetation period matching FAO 260. This hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, reaching 130-135 ц/га, and low grain moisture at harvest — 19-23%. Plants reach a height of 250-280 cm, with ears positioned at 90-95 cm and 25-26 cm in length. Grain is yellow, dent-shaped, with 16-18 rows, and 1000-grain weight is 280-290 g. Grain yield from the ear reaches 84-86%, making Lебідь MV an effective choice for both grain and silage. The hybrid Lебідь MV demonstrates high adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, ensuring stable yields in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions of Ukraine. It is characterized by high cold and drought resistance, as well as resistance to wilting, ear drooping, ear fly and bubble disease, stalk rot, and corn smut. Recommended planting density is 60-62 thousand plants per hectare in the forest-steppe and 65-68 thousand in Polissia, promoting optimal growth and maximum yield. Corn Lебідь MV was developed by the Institute of Plant Physiology named after V.Ya. Yuryev and successfully registered in Ukraine's variety register in 2007. This hybrid is not only highly productive but also possesses good technological characteristics, such as high moisture release and dry matter content in green mass at 32-35%. Protein content in grain is 9.8-10.2%, and starch content is 74.6%, making it valuable for various agricultural uses.
