Developed by the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute (National Center of Seed Science and Cultivar Research), the "Lebid MV" hybrid is a versatile, mid-season solution designed for farms that prioritize efficiency and balanced crop management. The biological characteristics of this hybrid allow it to effectively capitalize on its 120–140 day maturity cycle (FAO 90–1240). For growers, this means consistent performance, good moisture release after grain maturity, and an impressive starch content of 74%, which is a key metric for maximizing both feed quality and industrial value.

Disease Resistance and Management

A major strength of "Lebid MV" is its natural resistance to common pathogens that typically threaten profitability. The hybrid shows robust tolerance to common and head smut, as well as stalk rots. Furthermore, its genetic resilience against the European corn borer helps reduce the need for intensive insecticide application, streamlining farm operations.
