Lenin 186 SV is an intensive, three-row corn hybrid with a combined usage direction, developed by scientists of the company LLC "RASAVA". The hybrid is characterized by high productivity and adaptability to various ecological conditions in Ukraine. The grain maturity period is 120-127 days, usually falling between September 13-15. Plants have 12-13 leaves on the main stem and weak bushiness with a coefficient of 1.20. The ear is weakly conical, 17-20 cm long, with a grain extraction rate of 78-80%. Hybrid Lenin 186 SV belongs to FAO group 190 and has a dent type of grain. From 2010 to 2015, under various ecological conditions in Ukraine, the yield of standard-moisture market grain in stationary trials averaged 10.9 t/ha, exceeding standard benchmarks by 1.4-1.5 t/ha. Many farms achieve yields ranging from 9.0-12.0 t/ha. The hybrid’s potential yield may reach up to 13.5 t/ha. Special attention is paid to seed quality during seed production: seed production is conducted on a sterile basis with complete removal of tassels to obtain high-quality seed material. Parental lines are simultaneously sown on hybridization plots, ensuring stability and uniformity of the hybrid. Lenin 186 SV is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones and provides high and stable grain yields.
