Description TAGNA
TAGNA is a winter rye variety developed with the participation of Dymka, Chulpan, Tulunskaia zelenozernaya, and Korotkosteбельnaya 69 varieties. It is characterized by late maturity, high winter hardiness, and frost resistance, as well as drought resistance, making it particularly suitable for cultivation in the Irkutsk region and Eastern Siberia. The plants reach heights of 91 to 115 cm, have an intermediate bush type, and a semi-bent ear of medium length and density. The mass of 1000 grains varies within 23-33 grams, indicating good grain quality.

The TAGNA variety differs in high resistance to root rot, ergot, and septoria, which significantly reduces the risks of crop loss due to diseases. Average yield is about 17.1 centners per hectare, while maximum indicators reach 34.2 centners per hectare. Thanks to adaptation to Eastern Siberian conditions and high weed resistance, this variety is promising for agricultural production in the region.

The TAGNA variety was developed by Irkutsk scientists at the Siberian Institute of Physiology and Biochemistry of Plants SB RAS, which confirms its scientific basis and quality. The variety is recommended for cultivation in complex climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality crop. Its use contributes to effective agriculture in regions with harsh climates and increased requirements for plant resistance.
