Description KWS TACO
Corn KWS Taco is an early hybrid with rapid water release, developed by German breeding and adapted for cultivation in all agroclimatic zones. This hybrid is characterized by its stability and remontant plant type with semi-erect leaves, providing high resistance to corn borers. KWS Taco is suitable for cultivation both in monoculture and on minimum tillage fields, making it a versatile choice for various farming conditions.

Morphological characteristics of corn include plant height of 280-290 cm and ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. Ears have a fixed type with 14 rows of kernels, each containing 34-39 kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 300-320 grams, contributing to a high yield potential of up to 15 tons per hectare. The kernels are dent-type, and the maturity group belongs to mid-early (FAO 230), enabling the hybrid to successfully complete its vegetative period within optimal timeframes.

Recommendations for plant density at harvest depend on water availability: under adequate moisture, optimal density is 70-80 thousand plants per hectare; under medium moisture — 65-70 thousand; and under insufficient moisture — 50-60 thousand. Seeds are supplied in packages of 50 thousand units and treated with protectants MAXIM XL and PONCHO, providing protection against diseases and pests during early growth stages. KWS Taco is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high and stable corn yields under various climatic conditions.
