Corn hybrid KUBANSKIY 390 AMV is a medium-maturing, simple maternal-sister hybrid with FAO 280-300, intended for grain production. It has a universal usage direction and is suitable for various climatic conditions, including the North Caucasus, Central Chernozem, and Volga regions. The hybrid is included in the state register and recommended for cultivation in the northern climatic zone of the Krasnodar Territory, southern areas of Rostov Oblast, and other regions with dry climates.

KUBANSKIY 390 AMV exhibits high resistance to diseases such as southern helminthosporiosis, fusarium, and bacterial blight, ensuring stable yields. Average grain yield varies depending on the region and cultivation conditions: in the North Caucasus region, it is approximately 47.3 c/ha, reaching 94.3 and 95.2 c/ha in the Central Chernozem and Volga regions respectively. In the Krasnodar Territory, in 2012, the yield reached 71.5 c/ha, exceeding the standard Kuban 320 SV.

The hybrid matures for direct combine harvesting in early September, with grain moisture at about 19.8%. The recommended plant density at harvest depends on cultivation conditions: in optimal conditions — 75-80 thousand plants per hectare, in dry areas — 60-65 thousand, in the northern climatic zone of the Krasnodar Territory — 40-45 thousand plants per hectare.
