Corn Cremen' 200 SV is a medium-early trihybrid with a glassy kernel type, intended for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forest regions of Ukraine, as well as in Russia and Belarus. This hybrid is characterized by high and stable yield, reaching 120-125 centners per hectare, corresponding to a potential of approximately 12-12.5 tons per hectare. Plant height is 250-270 cm, and the corn does not bush, with 15 leaves on the main stem. The cylindrical ear, 23-24 cm long, is located at a height of 80-90 cm and contains 12-14 rows of kernels with a 1000-kernel weight of 260-280 g. The kernels are yellow, round, and nearly glassy, ensuring high quality for food use.
Hybrid Cremen' 200 SV exhibits high resistance to major pests and diseases, including stalk rot and gray leaf spot, as well as good resistance to lodging and stem breakage. It tolerates both hot and low temperatures, making it plastic and adaptable to various climatic conditions. Additionally, the hybrid responds well to high agronomic inputs, allowing for maximum yields under optimal agronomic management.
This hybrid is widely used for grain, silage, and food production, including corn sticks, flakes, and flour. Rapid drying of the grain and low moisture at harvest ensure ease of storage and processing. The hybrid's seeds are sold in sowing units of 80,000 seeds, characterized by seed production profitability, making cultivation economically advantageous. The developers of the hybrid are the Institute of Steppe Zone Agriculture of NAAN Ukraine and the scientific and production agrocorporation "Stepova".
