Description
KRASNODARSKIY 500 AMV — this is a simple modified hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.) of late-maturing type, intended for cultivation in the central and south foothill zones of the Krasnodar region, as well as in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions. The plant is characterized by medium height, strong initial growth energy, and a vegetation period up to 130 days. The stalk develops about 19-20 leaves, and the ear has a cylindrical shape of medium or large length with yellow dent corn. The thousand-grain weight is 285-290 grams, indicating high seed material density and quality.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases and lodging, ensuring stable yield under various climatic conditions. It shows resistance to southern helminthosporiosis, powdery mildew, ear fusarium, and bacterial disease, and is moderately damaged by corn borer. Due to these characteristics, KRASNODARSKIY 500 AMV is suitable for obtaining both grain and silage, making it a versatile choice for agricultural enterprises.
The average grain yield in the North Caucasus region reaches 56.0 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard by 1.0 centner per hectare, and the yield of normalized dry matter in the Lower Volga region is 93.4 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard by 10.4 centners per hectare. The hybrid has good adaptability to different vegetation conditions, including drought tolerance, enabling its effective use in diverse agro-climatic zones. All these qualities make KRASNODARSKIY 500 AMV a reliable and high-yielding hybrid for modern farmers.
