Maize KRAKODARSKIY 206 MV

Breeding legacy from the Lukyanenko National Grain Center

"Krasnodarskiy 206 MV" is a staple in the mid-early hybrid segment, offering farmers predictable performance in temperate climate zones. Developed by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, this hybrid has become a go-to solution for farms seeking versatility, whether the primary goal is high-quality grain production or nutrient-rich silage.

Biological potential and agronomic profile

With a growing cycle of 105 to 115 days, this hybrid allows for confident harvest planning, even in unpredictable weather. The yellow-orange dent-type grain provides excellent dry-down rates, which is crucial for reducing drying costs and improving post-harvest logistics.

Phytosanitary resilience

A key strength of this hybrid is its robust natural resistance to major pathogens that threaten corn yields:

• Strong resistance to Helminthosporium blight, preventing premature leaf senescence.
• Effective defense against Fusarium ear rot, ensuring both high yield and product safety.
• Resistance to common smut, which is essential for maintaining ear integrity throughout the filling stage.

Cultivation recommendations

To maximize yield potential, it is recommended to maintain a plant density of 70,000–80,000 plants per hectare. Adhering to these density guidelines ensures that the crops optimize light interception and moisture uptake, leading to uniform maturity and well-filled ears by harvest time.
