Description KHARKOVSKAYA 26 M
Corn hybrid Kharkovskaya 26 M is a medium-maturing hybrid with dent-shaped kernels of red-orange color at the top. The plant is of medium height, reaching 230-250 cm, with 16-17 leaves and a short cylindrical ear of 25-26 cm. The ear stalk is short, and the cob is colored red. Leaves are straight, of medium width, with strong anthocyanin coloration of the first leaf sheath, root sheath, glumes, and silk. The tassel is sterile, does not flower, with reduced pollen sacs and medium density of florets. The silk emergence time is medium, closer to late. The hybrid has high resistance to lodging, cold, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions, including steppe and forest-steppe zones. The variety is resistant to major diseases and pests, contributing to yield preservation and reduced costs for plant protection. Initial corn growth is rapid, ensuring good germination and development during early growth stages. The potential yield of the variety reaches 11-11.2 tons per hectare with grain extraction of 84-85%. The thousand-kernel weight is 280-290 grams. To enhance seed protection during sowing, the two-component fungicidal seed treatment "Inshur Perform" is used, effectively controlling diseases of cereal crops. The variety is recommended for agricultural use and is adapted to cultivation conditions in Ukraine, ensuring a stable and high yield.
