Maize KR 070 MV

Reliable performance in short growing seasons

KR 070 MV is a selection product developed by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center, firmly established in the ultra-early maturity hybrid segment. It is an ideal solution for farms operating in regions with a limited growing season, where the ability to achieve high yields in a short timeframe is critical for business viability.

Agronomic profile and disease resistance

The hybrid shows excellent adaptability to environmental stress factors, confirmed by high field resistance to diseases common in corn production. Farmers report minimal damage from pathogens, ensuring healthier crops. The hybrid possesses strong resistance to:

• Helminthosporium blight;
• Common smut;
• Bacterial diseases;
• Stalk rots, which protect the quality of both grain and silage biomass.

This natural phytosanitary resistance helps reduce the need for excessive chemical intervention, resulting in a cleaner final product.

Usage and technical parameters

With an FAO rating of 90–1240 and a maturation cycle of 70–80 days, KR 070 MV serves as a versatile tool for producers. It is used both for high-quality grain harvesting and for nutrient-rich silage production. For livestock operations, this hybrid is particularly valuable as it allows for green mass harvesting at the optimal time, preserving nutritional value before unfavorable weather sets in. The genetics provided by the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center ensure a predictable response to agricultural practices, which is essential for both mid-sized farms and large agro-holdings focused on consistent production results.
